Exercise Physiology with Milly Harrison

Milly Harrison completed her Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at James Cook University Townsville before moving back to Nelson Bay to continue practising as an exercise physiologist. Milly has experience working with elite athletes after her time based with the North Queensland Cowboys NRL team, as well as individuals of all ages and abilities suffering from chronic diseases and injuries.

Muscle and Health Exercise Physiology (MHEP) aims to provide assistance to individuals suffering from a chronic disease, illness or injury through the prescription of tailored exercise programs. Specific services include:

  • Sport specific rehabilitation programs
  • Pain management
  • Elderly – falls prevention and maintenance of functional activities of daily living
  • Mental health management
  • Weight loss management
  • Womens health – Anti and post natal, incontinence, menopause
  • Cardiac conditions – Heart disease, blood pressure, post cardiac event
  • Metabolic conditions – Type 1 and 2 diabetes, obesity
  • Hydrotherapy
